The story and all the buildup to this arc made my excitement peak and damn did it not disappoint. Very exciting fights and I love the mink thing (not saying what it is bc spoilers for ppl not there yet. This arc gave me the long awaited respect for Brook. Zou was a little boring, but damn did whole cake bring it back. Punk Hazard started the whole wano thing and Doflamingo is probably my favorite antagonist as of wano. Beautiful.īoring as heck, but I like the teaser of wanoĪmazon Lily and Impel Down were eh. Love it all, from Jaya introducing Blackbeard to Enel overall. The only problem I had is that the arcs before alabasta felt too dragged out It was boring till syrup village then it was good from there on (I love Kuro for some reason) I'll try to be brief with my explanations. Ok I actually just caught up with the anime lmao. I would give it a 10 but I think it's not fair of me since Wano isn't done yet.
Whole cake island and Wano are two of my favorite arcs so far (I read the manga and watch the anime). Punk hazard was decent and a good set up arc especially as it still plays a role even now.
But still fun and good world buildings.ĭressrosa is great minus the stretched out episodes. Not very memorable, lack luster antagonist. I need to rewatch this arc but for now it's not very memorable.Ībsolutely crazy ride for an even crazier climax. Knowing what I know now I see the importance of sky piea to the world and the story but in comparison to the other saga it falls behind.Įverything about this arc is just amazing. There were some slow parts in the final arc of the saga which but overall loved it. I really enjoyed the shift to the grandline things got really crazy and I felt like the grand line was a different environment for the east blue. As you can see Thriller Bark and Summit War weren't my favorites but I loved the Amazon Island and Impel down parts! Should I even bother continuing in the anime? Seems it becomes unwatchable due to length of fights and recaps.įillers and all, I loved it, only draw back was syrup village. But I am eager to see what the diehard fans rate these and the more current arcs. The emotional moments were some of the greatest and well. But it gave the spotlight to some legends and some villains which was amazing. The war had too many perspectives and was a bit too long for my taste. I know this is probably a hot take but i prefer Impel down to Marineford War. Seeing how they blend w the crew during the downtime of the arc was awesome. Amazing all around and for some reason the addition of Robin and Chopper really helped get me thru the beginning of this arc. I can't tell you why but for some reason this arc was one of my favorites. I loved Croc but felt he was nerfed so that luffy could beat him. and our first big Location in the world, Alabasta. Quality introduction of Ace/Vivi/Chopper. Luffy is just Luffy (love his simplicity), unstoppable force of nature that always laughs and eats meat. Sanji and Zoro were already my favorites at this point. But Arlong Park was fantastic end to the "saga?". Good character introductions but wasn't too found of Orange Town/Syrup Village overall. This will be my first time doing so, I haven't seen show since highschool but I'll do my best job.
